What do I need to use Glimpse?

An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. That is it. Glimpse works with your iPhone camera, front or back.

Does Glimpse work with smart glasses?

Not yet. Support for smart glasses is on our roadmap. Today Glimpse is built around your iPhone camera, and everything you teach it will carry over when glasses support arrives.

Is my data stored or shared?

During a session, your voice and camera images are sent to Google Gemini in real time and are never recorded or stored by us. Memories you save are kept on your phone and in your account, and are shared with Gemini during your sessions so it can use them. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How does the free tier work?

Free users get 5 minutes of AI interaction per day. The timer resets at midnight. Upgrade to Glimpse Pro for 40 minutes per day.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Glimpse Pro, and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's Report a Problem page. See our Refund Policy for more details.

How does emergency detection work?

Glimpse listens for distress phrases and can automatically initiate an emergency call. This is a convenience feature and should not replace a dedicated emergency response system. You can set your emergency contact in the app's settings.

The app isn't responding to my voice. What should I do?

Make sure Glimpse has microphone permission (iPhone Settings > Glimpse > Microphone). Try disconnecting and reconnecting. Check that your internet connection is stable, as Glimpse requires an active connection for AI processing.
